Toledo Fugitive Arrested in Atlanta, GA
Atlanta, GA – Late last night, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in Atlanta, GA, along with the Atlanta Police Department, arrested wanted fugitive Tyrone Lamarr Hoskins, 34. Hoskins was wanted by three different agencies in northern Ohio. He was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for federal supervised release violations, with an underlying offense of federal weapons violations. He was also wanted by the Toledo Police Department for aggravated riot, and by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for various parole violations with an underlying offense of manslaughter.
Hoskins was involved in an incident at the Franklin Park Mall with at least four other individuals, resulting in the aggravated riot charge. Since then, state parole and federal probation violation warrants were issued. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) have been looking for Hoskins since September of last year. In October 2024, Hoskins was featured as a wanted fugitive in the local media in the Toledo area.
Recently, members of the NOVFTF gathered information that Hoskins may have fled to the Atlanta, Georgia area. Information about Hoskins whereabouts was given to the U.S. Marshals in Atlanta who quickly acted on the information. They were able to locate Hoskins in a vehicle he was known to drive. Deputies with USMS and officers with the Atlanta Police Department arrested Hoskins without incident in the700 block of Morosgo Dr. NE. Hoskins will remain in custody in the Atlanta area until he can be extradited back to northern Ohio to answer for the charges against him.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Here is another example of a violent fugitive who thought he could run from authorities and not have to answer for the crimes he has committed here in Ohio. With the long reach of the USMS and dedicated work by investigators, this fugitive is behind bars.”
