U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth put NATO allies on notice Thursday, announcing a Pentagon review of America’s military commitment to Europe and warning some countries will fail the assessment. The audit will examine spending and burden-sharing as Washington pushes Europeans to take the lead in their own defence.
