Kilmar Abrego Garcia was released from jail in Tennessee on Friday so he can rejoin his family in Maryland while awaiting trial on human smuggling charges. The day before, the Department of Homeland Security notified his lawyers that he would be deported to Uganda and should report to immigration authorities on Monday.
