NJCP Teams Build Rosters Through Spring Tryouts and Local Outreach for 2026 Season
Las Vegas, Nevada / CRWE PRESS RELEASE / May 6, 2026 — As preparations continue for the 2026 season, the National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League is moving through its spring tryout and evaluation period as teams work to finalize rosters ahead of the August kickoff.
Athletes across NJCP are continuing to compete for roster spots through tryouts, workouts, and organized team activities taking place in multiple regions throughout the country. These sessions are designed to give players an opportunity to showcase their abilities in competitive environments while allowing coaching staff to evaluate athletic readiness, positional fit, and overall development heading into the season.
NJCP provides a pathway for athletes to continue their football careers after high school through nationally livestreamed team-versus-team competition and professional game film while maintaining NCAA eligibility. The league's season format is centered around weekly games, giving athletes the opportunity to continue developing through repetition, preparation, and in-game experience over the course of a full season.
As teams continue building rosters, coaching staffs are also implementing offensive, defensive, and special teams systems while establishing expectations for practices, meetings, and weekly competition. Programs throughout the league remain focused on creating organized team environments that allow athletes to continue developing both on and off the field.
In addition to player evaluations, NJCP programs continue engaging with local schools, coaches, and communities as interest in upcoming tryouts and the 2026 season continues to grow. Teams across the league are expected to continue hosting recruitment events and player outreach activities throughout the spring and summer.
With the 2026 season set to begin in August, NJCP teams remain focused on preparation, roster development, and competition as programs continue building toward kickoff.
