WyHy Federal Credit Union Names Matthew Ballou as Chief Executive Officer

Longtime leader and Chief Retail Officer steps into role, continuing a legacy of member-focused leadership

CHEYENNE, WY / ACCESS Newswire / April 1, 2026 /WyHy Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Matthew Ballou as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026.

Ballou brings more than 12 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry and a deep understanding of WyHy 's mission, operations, and member relationships. Most recently serving as Chief Retail Officer, he has led key initiatives in retail, marketing, and mortgage strategy, helping drive growth and enhance the member experience.

Ballou succeeds longtime CEO Bill Willingham, who has served the credit union since 1984 and led the organization since 1992. His decades of leadership helped shape WyHy into the strong, community-focused institution it is today.
